(1) The ship shakes due to wind and waves when sailing at sea. Therefore, the influence of hull shake should be considered when designing furniture. Generally, the fixed type is used and fixed on the wall or deck.
(2) Due to the sway of the hull, the furniture should be protected from vibration and noise. Generally, the drawers of marine furniture must have self-locking devices. As for metal furniture, the movable parts such as the drawer must have anti-vibration measures to avoid noise and affect rest and work.
(3) Make a flange (table bread line) 10-20mm higher than the edge of the panel of the table, table and cabinet. The taps of the cabinets must be geared to prevent the drawers from falling down automatically when the ship is swaying. Larger cabinet doors are equipped with cabinet door barriers; the bed is equipped with baffles to prevent people from falling off the bed when the storm is too big.
